How to Tandoori Fish Without A Tandoor
Ingredients
Fish – 2 Whole Mackerels (or any other fish of your choice)
Turmeric Powder 3/4 tsp
Red Chilly Powder 1 tsp
Garam Masala Powder 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Curd 4 tablespoons
Ginger Garlic Paste 2 tsp
Red Food Color – a pinch
Lemon Juice (juice out half a Lemon)
First Marination
Wash the fish clean and pat dry, add 1/4 tsp of Turmeric Powder, 1/4th tsp of salt, and a few drops of lemon juice. Rub the fish very well coating the marinade all over the fish. Leave it aside for 10-15 minutes.
Prepare the Second Marinade i.e the Tandoori Marination
Take the Curd and add lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, red chilly powder, food color, garam masala powder, salt, and turmeric powder, mix everything well and prepare a smooth marinade.
Make Tandoori Fish In Microwave: Method
Coat the Fish with this thick marinade very nicely and let it sit for 30 mins.
Now place the fish in your Microwave’s grill rack
Set the Microwave to grill- combination mode, and temperature to 180 degrees Celsius.
Grill the fish for 12 minutes
Your delicious homemade Tandoori fish is ready to be served.
