Preparation
Wash the spinach leaves and chop them roughly
Wash the Moong Dal and Rice
Mince the Garlic
Method
Heat oil in a pressure cooker
Add the chopped garlic
Fry the garlic till it become light brown
Add chopped Paalak leaves, give it a stir and add salt
When the Paalak releases water add the mix of Rice and Dal
Add Turmeric powder and fry in low heat for about a minute
Add water, about 3 times of the total quantity of Rice-Dal mix
Cover the lid of the pressure cooker and cook in low heat till 2 whistles.
Once done, open the pressure cooker and blend the khichdi (if required)
Dish out in a bowl and add 1/2 tsp of Ghee (clarified Butter).
Yummy healthy meal for your little baby is ready.
